  • What is SEO in digital marketing?

Put simply, SEO is the process of making your company’s website more visible and relevant to search engines such as Google or Bing. This is done through the use of carefully chosen keywords and other techniques to increase a website’s authority and usefulness. The goal with SEO is to get your business ranking on the first page of Google "organically," that is, without implementing a paid campaign. Hylton-Ross offers a Pay Per Rank SEO (PPRSEO) program, which guarantees an organic ranking on the first page of Google, or you don’t pay for the service. See our Guaranteed SEO page or contact us for more details.

  • What is the difference between local and national SEO?

National SEO promotes a website that anyone in the country might be searching for without regard for a particluar city, like "best deals on supplements." Local SEO is for businesses in a certain community, where someone may search “Thai food Las Vegas” for example. Then there is so-called “hyper local” SEO, which is what our Near Me Search program focuses on. This is especially important for mobile search, where someone typically would type “Thai food near me” (which you’ll note is different from “Thai food Las Vegas”). Near Me Search makes your business more visible to local customers, driving more traffic to your business.

  • Does SEO require changes to my website?

From an appearance standpoint, usually not. However, it may be necessary to add or change a site’s content in order for keywords to rank and for you to get the results that you want. If a site is very old, cluttered and slow to load, it may be to easier (and less expensive) to rebuild your website using SEO best practices. We can get you a free quote based on the keywords you want to rank, and advise you of any changes that should be made to your site before we get started.

The same app also allows you to collect customer testimonials on the spot, and post them on a testimonials page that requires no changes to your website.

Easy to implement: As incredibly intricate and useful as Alex is, it can be added to any website with just a single line of code. Once installed, Alex will learn everything on your website in 30 seconds or less, and will continue to learn more with each customer interaction. Much more than a "chatbot": Ordinary chatbots aren’t intelligent–they’re just there to collect information and refer you to someone that can actually answer your question. Studies show that incomplete, slow or incompetent chatbots can actually drive customers away from your website. Let's put it this way: Alex will outperform any other chat solution on the market, and will learn more about your business in 30 seconds than your current chatbot knows right now. Don’t believe us? Ask for a demo–we’ll prove it.

  • SEO or Google Ads?

Investing in SEO is always a good idea, regardless of whether or not you advertise. Think of SEO as a long-term strategy that attracts visitors through carefully curated content, while Google Ads offer a short-term paid solution that can get you to the top of the search rankings with or without SEO. Google Ads are particularly effective at getting attention for a new product, service or promotion for a short period of time. Rather than trying to get your website to rank organically using carefully-chosen keywords, content and other methodology, advertisers bid on keywords that are relevant to their products or services. The higher the bid, the higher the ad’s placement in the search results. This is a particularly good option if you don’t have time to make your business rank organically and are looking for the fastest possible results.

  • Are Google Ads expensive?

First, it’s important to remember that you control the budget–you can spend as much or as little as you want. Next, consider that it’s only expensive if you’re spending a lot and not getting a return. For example, if you’re spending $1000/month on a paid advertising campaign but you’re generating $2000/month in new revenue from it, that’s not expensive–that’s good ROI.

  • Are Facebook Ads worth it?

As with any other digital marketing campaign, yes, Facebook ads are effective when implemented correctly. Generally speaking, FB is best suited to things that people want, but don't necessarily need. A good FB ad will entice a reader to purchase, and can be made more attractive with discounts, coupons, etc. Visit our Facebook Advertising page for more information.
